Our Vegan Hemp Pesto is a surefire crowd pleaser that can be prepared in a matter of minutes! We love it on toast!
- 1 Clove Minced Garlic
- 1/2 Cup Together Natural Hemp Hearts
- 3 Cups Packed Basil Leaves
- 2 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
- 1/2 Tsp Lemon Zest
- Pinch of Salt
- 1/3 Cup Olive Oil
- Blend garlic, hemp hearts, and nutritional yeast in blender or food processor. Blend until combined (aprx. 30 seconds).
- Add basil leaves, lemon zest, and salt, with machine running low, slowly add olive oil through the pour spout.
- Blend until oil is combined and paste is formed. Scrap sides as needed, adding up to 2tbsp to achieve desired consistency.
- Salt to taste.
- Enjoy with pasta, pizza, bread, and veggies.
